Book your place the Encephalitis Conference in London on December 3. This annual conference is the only event in the world dedicated exclusively to encephalitis and brings together professionals with various expertise and knowledge, ranging from etiology, pathogenesis, and diagnosis, through to treatment, recovery and rehabilitation of people affected by encephalitis.
The Conference is free for Professional Members however to enable the work of the Encephalitis Society to continue we would like to invite you to make a £25 donation towards our work.

We are currently inviting abstract submissions for the Encephalitis Conference 2018. This conference is the ‘go-to’ conference on encephalitis attracting delegates and presenters from around the world.
This year we are delighted to welcome keynote speakers Dr Josep Dalmau and Dr Susan Hills.
Dr Dalmau discovered 10 autoimmune diseases, known as autoimmune encephalopathies, measured by anti-protein antibodies and cerebral receptors, including anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis. He is a Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) Investigator (Barcelona), an Associate Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Barcelona, and a Professor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Susan Hills is a Medical Epidemiologist in the Division of Vector-Borne Diseases at the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Fort Collins, Colorado. Most recently, among other responsibilities within CDC’s Arboviral Diseases Branch, she worked on the response to the Zika virus disease outbreak in the Americas and led a multi-year project to assess the impact of Japanese encephalitis vaccine in Asia.

All abstract submissions should use the Abstract Submission form.
Abstracts should be related to encephalitis and will be considered in any field or subject area. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Program Committee and may be accepted for:
ORAL PRESENTATION – refers to abstracts accepted for oral presentation at the podium.
POSTER PRESENTATION– poster board presentation in the Poster Area.
The DEADLINE for submitting the abstracts is 30th June 2018.
