Brain Injury Survivor’s Triathlon Challenge

In 2009 Nick Verron was left for dead in an alley, stabbed through the brain in an unprovoked attack. He was 25. Weeks in a coma, months in hospital and years in hell followed, as he fought to try and regain as much mobility and normality as he could. Nick had been left with severe brain injury. He woke from the coma to being paralysed down the right side, unable to control his limbs, unable to speak or swallow, and with his sight severely damaged.  Nick cannot walk unaided but on August 9th 2015 he will take complete a 20km course on his recumbent trike as part of the Para-Tri triathlon at Dorney Lake, Windsor to raise funds for UKABIF. Please help Nick to reach his target.
