Professor Barnes At 10 Downing Street

UKABIF Chair, Professor Michael Barnes, attended a reception hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron, at 10 Downing Street, London on Tuesday this week. The event featured the launch of the first novel ‘Head of State’ by political writer Andrew Marr, a thriller based in the Palace of Westminster, and supported the charity Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury (The ARNI Institute).

NIHR Brain Injury Healthcare Technology Co-operative – Launch of the Innovation Small Funds Competition 2014/15

The NIHR Brain Injury Healthcare Technology Co-operative is pleased to announce its first competition for pilot project funding (up to £10,000) for the early development of novel technology-based solutions applicable to the acquired brain injury pathway, from the initial acute event through to long term rehabilitation (www.brainhtc.org).
