A New Learning and Networking Forum for 2012
| Date: |
Thu, 22 March 2012 |
| Description: |
The idea for the Cambridge Medico-Legal Forum was conceived out of discussions between medics and lawyers to address the lack of opportunities for the two professions to meet in Cambridge. The Forum aims to promote conversation, education and improve understanding of each others’ disciplines and the challenges each faces. It is a chance for professionals from Cambridge and the surrounding areas to meet, learn, and network socially and professionally.
There will be three evening meetings per year with presentations from both of the professions followed by a formal dinner and fine wine. Each event will cost between £50-75 and attract CPD points.
Our inaugural meeting is on 22 March 2012 in the beautiful surroundings of Downing College. Please save the date. Places are limited to 55 for the first event so let us know if you wish to attend as soon as possible.
As a newly formed group we are looking for speakers for future meetings and would welcome suggestions for topics of mutual interest.
If you would like to join the Cambridge Medico-Legal Forum or register for our first event please email

. Full details will be sent out in January 2012. There is no fee for joining the group.
By registering your interest we will add your name to an email discussion group so you will be able to email other members for advice, especially if you are looking for a local medic or lawyer with a particular expertise. All group notices will also be via the email network.
We look forward to meeting you.
