New Journal – Social Care and Neurodisability
The first issue of this new journal is due to be published in May. Social Care and Neurodisability is a single source of good practice and research for those working with people with neurological conditions. The Journal is aimed at everyone working in social work, case management, social care and all others interested in neurodisability and neuroscience.
To be published quarterly by Pier Professional, the journal will provide a forum for the sharing of information on good practice and advances in the rehabilitation, community care and support of people who have neurological conditions. The content will provide crucial knowledge at a time when the provision of social care is undergoing radical change, with the introduction of the personalisation agenda and increase in litigation leading to an expansion in independent case management.
The Journal’s coverage will explore research and practice with adults, children and adolescents with neurological conditions.
