Exploring the long-term consequences of childhood acquired brain injury.
Trust-Ed's one day conference will explore the often unrecognised long-term consequences of an acquired brain injury sustained during childhood or adolescence.
An excellent programme of highly acclaimed international speakers will include:
- Dr Michael Collins - Sports Concussion Clinician, Pittsburgh Medical Center
- Professor Huw Williams - Co-director for the Centre for Clinical Neuro-psychology Research, Exeter University
- Dr Rob Forsyth - Senior Lecturer and Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, Royal Victoria Infirmary and Newcastle University
- Dr Tom Beattie - Consultant in Emergency Medicine, Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh
- Dr Ruth Kent - Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Neurological Rehabilitation, Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield.
There will also be contributions from young people with ABI and their family members. |
