Thames valley Test Company Assessments
Date: Fri, 23 April 2010, 00:00 - 23:59
Description:

A one-day workshop, covering the general principles of neuropsychometric testing. It provides instruction in the use of cognitive assessments, test measurement and interpretation, applying the theory to clinical examples. Specific instruction will be given on three of the Thames Valley Tests - the Behavioural Assessment of Dysexecutive Syndrome (BADS), the Doors and People: a test of visual and verbal recall and recognition, and the Test of Everyday Attention (TEA).

The workshop leader is Eve Greenfield, an experienced occupational therapist in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. Eve has been at the MRC Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit, Cambridge for 14 years, and during this time has been involved in both rehabilitation studies and test development. Attendance on this course will entitle delegates to use specified neuropsychological assessments from the Thames Valley range, published by Pearson Assessment, that are normally restricted to use by chartered psychologists.

On completion attendees will receive certification entitling them to purchase and administer these tests.
