An interactive workshop for all people working with people who are living with acquired brain injury

The Reason You Should Attend This Workshop

Acquired brain injury is a frequently occurring condition and is often described as “the hidden disability” because sometimes the person living with the brain injury has no obvious physical disabilities, but there have been cognitive and behavioural changes. These changes can prove very problematic for the person and those carers and professionals supporting them.

This workshop explains the major functions of the brain and what goes wrong in acquired brain injury. The workshop explores using case studies the changes that the person with brain injury experiences and how we can use techniques drawn from the latest research into cognitive rehabilitation to help support the person with brain injury and their carers.
