Instructions For Registering Your Service

  • A form will pop up for you register your service. The form covers a variety of aspects about what your service provides. (You will also be able to print of copies of the forms to fill in and give to your IT department to enter the details if you do not have access to the net in your office.)

  • Please note that some of the sections of the form will not be relevant to all services. If they are not applicable to yours, then just leave the section blank. You should aim to provide as much information as possible however. Entries without sufficient information will not be made live.

  • When you register your service you will be asked to choose a password. Only those to whom you reveal the password will be able to alter any information that you have given. This is to ensure that the information you enter will be treated with confidentiality and not be altered. The UKABIF office will of course have access to this password.

What happens next?

  • Having chosen a password you click a button "submit" and the forms will be sent to the UKABIF office where they will be checked for typographical errors, completeness and consistency, and that the service is appropriate for inclusion in the directory. The entry with then be made live to the website and inclusion in the directory. (This process may take a couple of days so do not be concerned if your entry does not appear immediately).

  • Once the entry is live anyone will be able to access this information through the UKABIF website.

How do I change the information on the forms?

  • Before any changes go live they will once again go to the UKABIF office for checking.
