Advances in the Neuroscience of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: Assessment and Management

Location: Thistle City Hotel, Barbican. London, EC1V 8D

This post-qualification training day is an opportunity to bring together neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, medical and legal professionals, and other professionals interested in brain injury for an update on developments in neuroscientific research informing the assessment and management of mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI). The day will cover a range of topics including clinical perspectives from emergency medicine and neuro- rehabilitation, track side sports assessment, issues in neuro-cognitive assessment, and medico-legal challenges. It is anticipated that learning outcomes from the day will include a greater awareness of current research in MTBI, and an understanding of it’s application in relation to clinical practice in sports, A&E and rehabilitation settings.
